Waxing poetic about Linglestown

As the sun rose in the eastern sky a few hours ago, another day dawned in the hamlet of Linglestown, a place that feels like home.

Caffeine-craving commuters and villagers streamed into St. Thomas Roasters to get their fix. A truck ran over signs in the square roundabout, again. The streetlights dimmed after a hard night of work. Some teens huddled under the Eagle Hotel sign while text messaging nonstop to friends and enemies. In the meadow on the edge of town, a cow mooed between bites of grass.

Yes, life is grand, life is good in Linglestown, a place that feels like home.

I've seen cows in the small meadow located south of Raspberry Lane behind St. Thomas Roasters.
